Muganzi Felix, a 23-year-old boda boda rider, is reported to have fought off panga-wielding thugs who attempted to rob his motorcycle.
The Police say that the boda boda rider was hired by two individuals, identified as Amanya Joel and another known only as Ibrah, to transport them to the Nakuwade area.
However, upon reaching the destination, the two men, armed with pangas, attacked him in an attempt to rob his motorcycle, registration number UEN 484A.
It is reported that during the altercation, the boda boda rider resisted, managing to overpower one of the assailants, Amanya Joel, with the assistance of local residents.
Additionally, during the investigation, the police discovered five suspected stolen motorcycles and eight motorcycle number plates at Muganda Ali Garage in Natete.
