Fans treated to epic Easter of Safari rally in Naivasha

Fans from all walks of life—those from Nairobi, Nakuru,Naivasha, Eldoret, and other parts of Kenya were treated to an exhilarating Easter holiday within Naivasha and its environs as they cheered and got a rare glimpse of WRC cars. The WRC safari rally, which was the third round of the 2024 season, was reverting to its traditional Easter weekend for the first time after 26 years. Fans who camped along the rally stages and spectator stages such as Soysambu, Elementsaita,Loldia,Lake Naivasha, and Hells Gate had a memorable Easter treat, which also boosted traders who were selling merchandise to the crowds. Some of whom we spoke to were happy for the rally returning to Easter weekend and Monday still being a public holiday; they had no hurry to go back home on Sunday evening. From the streets of Naivasha town to spectator stages the Ugandans were all over enjoying the rally moment from making noise to discussing Luganda language.
